• HKU Presidential PhD Scholar Programme: Each HKU Presidential PhD Scholar will receive a package of up to around HK$439,500 (US$56,350) in the first year, and up to around HK$422,000 (US$54,110) in each of the subsequent years during the normative study period. 

​​

• Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme: Each HKPFS awardee will receive a Postgraduate Scholarship of HK$28,400 per month, and conference and research-related travel allowance of HK$14,200 per year for a period up to three years.

​​

• ​Postgraduate Scholarships: The basic level of scholarship is HK$19,135 per month (wef 1/9/2025). A PGS holder whose PhD probationary candidature has been confirmed will receive a higher PGS rate (HK$19,655, wef 1/9/2025) with effect from the following calendar month after his/her probation is fully confirmed.

Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Cryogenic Imaging: We are recruiting a postdoctoral research fellow who has experience in cryogenic sample processing and cryogenic imaging techniques.
